Workplace: Plant in Balakhani
Condition: The Plant site area
Working hours from 8:00 to 17:00 for 5 days in a week (Monday to Friday)
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as chemist or at chemical laboratory works
Technical bachelor degree
At least intermediate level in English
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Control of ingredient and quality of required water used in production process. Ensure correct use of and reuse of the water.
• Control of the dosage of all the required chemicals for the production process. Ensure correct use of all the chemicals.
• Preparation of check list for the following areas, involved in water consumption, under his/her responsibility:
1. water treatment.
2. boiler water and steam.
3. lime preparation and injection system.
4. urea preparation and injection system.
5. activated carbon injection system.
6. waste water system (sewage, pumping system of the waste pit, decantation pit, water spraying system on bottom ash, slag water pit, storm water basin, etc...).
7. chemicals for water treatment and other chemicals requiring used in the Plant:
• maintains updated safety data sheets working in cooperation with HSE.
• maintains minimum stock.
8. bottom ash maturation process.
• Perform all the tasks described in the check lists and keeps proper records.
• Fix light mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues in the areas under his/her responsibility.
• Conduct other duties given by his/her direct manager and reports to him all on goings and completed works.
• Ensure the needed chemical analysis and involves external laboratories.
• Order required chemicals and spare parts for the areas under his responsibility.
• Keep the plant laboratory tidy and operating.
