POSITION: POWER SYSTEMS SALES MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY

The Power Systems Sales Manager is responsible for:

• Execution and growth of Power System Equipment sales (EPG (Gas, diesel), Petroleum (Gas, Diesel), Marine, industrial, Contracting) ensure sales growth into the segment;
• Delivering the Power Unit sales business plan in volume, profitability and market share to Country Manager.
• Oversee the development and financial performance of all aspects of the Power Systems Sales Department.
• Support of all aspects of the Power business in Georgia.
• Forecasts business reliability of potential clients, their financial and material security.
• Develop and execute marketing programs aimed at increasing Borusan Makina’s market share in Azerbaijan and Georgia.
• Coaches the Sales representatives so the Sales force use a consultative selling approach, building profitable log-term customer relationships by selling products to customers that will maximize their productivity and reduce their cost per kWatt/hour for power station applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accountable for aggressively leading commercial growth and achieving all financial targets.
• Owns focused campaigns based on broader market opportunities, drives overall profitable growth strategy (quarter, year, multi-year), and contributes into definition and introduction strategy for new offerings.
• Generate and maintain sales project winning strategy & capture plan, based on Borusan Makina differentiators and value proposition.
• Lead and drive tender capture team to consolidate offer in line with capture strategy and negotiate deal with strong terms for Borusan Makina.
• Work with TR product, application and contracting teams to propose best product and solutions which meets with customer requirements.
• Work with TR supply chain and project management teams to deliver sold projects to the customers without any delay.
• Consistent client engagement so to ensure proper information flow and transparency between all parties.
• Accountable for quarterly commercial reporting (budget vs forecast vs actual) and pacing.
• Acts with absolute integrity and full adherence to the ethics and compliance rules.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) degree from an accredited university or college.
• At least 2-3 years of sales/commercial experience, of which at least 2 must be in the power generation industry in designated regional market space.
• Strong track record of sales results and sales leadership results
• Ability to influence cross-functional business teams to embrace and drive sales strategy and growth in the region.
• Proven successes in managing complex sales projects and implement appropriate partnerships with a vast spread of stakeholders, both within and outside the region.
• Deep knowledge of global and regional market economics and competitive issues, project development and financing.
• Success in developing influential customer relationships; viewed as a trusted advisor.
• Positive "can do" attitude with a passion for sales and customer service.
• Recognized as a strategist in outcome level selling: understands customer business models and leverages Borusan Makina solutions to create customer competitive advantage.
• Strong executive presence with outstanding formal presentation, negotiation and interpersonal communications skills.
• Confident, assertive self-starter who is extremely organized and goal driven.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Fluency in written and oral Azerbaijani, English and Russian. Fluent proficiency in Turkish highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Caterpillar Power System Products will be considered as an asset.
• Ability to travel within the assigned region and potentially internationally on occasion.
• Ability to read and understand Process & Indication Diagrams and Single Line Diagrams.
• Additional Business training will be considered as an asset.
