POSITION: TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC 

POSITION SUMMARY

Technician/Mechanic is responsible for:

• Maintaining service operations by inspecting, maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technician/Mechanic is primarily responsible for providing timely equipment maintenance and service, performing its modernization, diagnostics and downtime prevention works.  

In that manner, his responsibilities are below:

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Check in and check-out of all equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Maintain safety in the yard and workshop.
• Clean, organize and maintain working area.
• Wash and clean equipment.
• Meet customer satisfaction expectations.
• Maintain and secure work tools, vehicles and equipments.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Prepare tools, machinery inventory and machine repair parts for selling.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs on time.
• Minimize expense time on all jobs.
• Maximize productivity on all jobs.
• Required to have a toolbox with standard tools needed in the performance of duties. Specialty tools to be decided by the related Supervisor.
• Attend schools and trainings as required.
• Maintain a professional attitude in the workplace at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Post - secondary and High (Construction Equipment branches are preferably).
• 2+ years of experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of construction equipment (especially on diesel engine or hydraulic), terminology
• Formal training in mechanical repair field.
• Possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures.
• Positive "can do" attitude with a passion for customer service.
• Collaborative worker and teambuilding ability.
• Confident, assertive self-starter who is extremely organized and goal driven.
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani, English (beginner), Turkish and Russian.
• Basic computer skills-user level (MS Office usage).
• Valid Class B driver's license required.
• Ability to travel on occasion.
• Local candidates strongly preferred.
