The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It directs and coordinates the international relief activities conducted by the Movement in situations of conflict. It also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles. Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

The ICRC Delegation in Azerbaijan is seeking candidate, male or female, for the position of:
 
Data Entry Operator (Grade 4)

Minimum required knowledge & experience:

• Secondary school level or college degree, preferably in social sciences (Sociology, Psychology etc.)
• 2 year work experience in a similar field of activity
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Azerbaijani, Russian is an asset
• Skilful in Microsoft office, especially Microsoft Excel and working with formula
• Good communication skills
• Capacity to adhere to and to implement procedures
• Autonomy, good rigor, method and analytical skills
• Excellent team-player, self-starter and capacity to work towards multiples objectives and prioritize

Responsibilities:

• Collects and compiles information according to a given procedure
• Enters data, cleans data and manages data
• Conducts data analysis and generates statistical reports
• Drafts simple and standard reports
• Executes office work (typing of standard documents, filing, photocopying etc)
• Contributes to the implementation and follow-up of a project (within the department)
• Makes written reporting on the activities
• Translates documents for informal use, non-institutional and institutional documents
• Provides solutions to a wide range of problems to the superior
• Develops and maintains contacts with NGO partners and other interlocutors
• Assists the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support team and the protection department as needed.

This is a full-time position with a duty station in Baku, and a selected candidate will be hired as soon as possible.
