Functional Responsibilities:

• To help onloading and offloading from the vehicles.
• To drive light vehicles to transport people and/or material in strict adherence to internal security rules, national traffic laws and security conditions on the road.
• To ensure that goods are stowed inside the vehicle according to local, international and ICRC safety standards (attachment and distribution of goods, etc.).
• To checks their assigned vehicle(s)' is well equipment, general functioning and body condition and ensures that it is kept fueled and clean inside and out.
• To ensure that the trips have been authorized, where necessary.
• To report accidents, defects and/or missing equipment to management immediately.

Minimum required knowledge & experience:

• Primary school level
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Basic knowledge of spoken English & Russian
• Good physical condition
• To know usage of 4x4
• Elementary technical knowledge
• Automobile maintenance experience (oil checks, changing tyres, etc.).
• Good knowledge of the area of assignment.

This is a full-time position with a duty station in BARDA. The selected candidate will be expected to join immediately.
