2. Order & Payment Handling: Memorize or note down orders efficiently. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders and payments. Provide accurate billing and handle cash, credit cards, or digital payments.
3. Table Management & Cleanliness: Set up tables with necessary utensils, condiments, and decorations. Clear and clean tables after guests leave.
4. Coordination & Teamwork: Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy. Work closely with hosts, bartenders, and other staff to maintain smooth service. Assist colleagues when needed, especially during busy hours.
5. Knowledge & Sales: Stay informed about the menu, daily specials, and promotions.
6. Compliance & Safety: Follow hygiene, food safety, and health regulations. Handle glassware and plates carefully to avoid accidents. Follow alcohol-serving guidelines responsibly."
Requirements:
Requirements & Experience: English pre-intermediate and higher; Work experience at least 2 years; Team player; Sociable; Previous experience as a waitress, server, or in customer service (preferred but not always required); Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure; Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings (especially for fine dining); Experience handling POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus; Good memory and attention to detail.
