Recruitment and Staffing:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and reference checks.
- Help develop and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates.
- Assist in the orientation and onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Handle employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues promptly.
- Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to address performance and disciplinary matters.
HR Policy and Compliance:
- Support the HR Manager in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in conducting regular HR audits.
Benefits Administration:
- Help manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and enrollment.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Assist in the development of training materials and programs.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for management.
HR Administration:
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including filing, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Assist in payroll processing as needed.
Diversity and Inclusion:
- Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the hotel.
- Work on fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
- 2-3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hotel-specific HR practices and challenges.
- Multilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices.
