Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and reference checks.
  • Help develop and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates.
  • Assist in the orientation and onboarding process for new hires.

Employee Relations:

  • Handle employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues promptly.
  • Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with management to address performance and disciplinary matters.

HR Policy and Compliance:

  • Support the HR Manager in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist in conducting regular HR audits.

Benefits Administration:

  • Help manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and enrollment.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and programs.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management.

HR Administration:

  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including filing, documentation, and record-keeping.
  • Assist in payroll processing as needed.

Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the hotel.
  • Work on fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hotel-specific HR practices and challenges.
  • Multilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices.
