Senior Reservoir Engineer

The job envisages that an employee meets the following qualification requirements:

Education:

- Higher professional education and additional training as Reservoir Engineer

- The minimal previous work experience under the speciality shall be at least 8 years.

2. Employee’s Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities of Senior Reservoir Engineer are identified on the basis and in the scope of the qualification requirements, and may be amended and identified according to the Job Description as required.

Job Description:

2.1 Maintain and improve current dynamic models normally using the Reduce++, MoReS software route, updating to account for production history, surveillance and new well data (including integrating all seismic, geological and petrophysical data as well as facilities processing capacities and constraints), and to incorporate revised geological models and new 3D or 4D seismic information. History Match Reservoir Simulation Model and Perform Prediction Runs.
2.2 Maximise production and ultimate recovery factor through optimized drainage plans, well locations and drilling sequences.
2.3 Analysis of effectiveness of intensification of oil, gas production and increase of oil, gas recovery. 
2.4 Analysis and economic feasibility of Rigless Well Intervention OPEX and CAPEX for:
2.5 Drilling new wells, sidetracks;
2.6 WOs;
2.7 Well recompletion/ recompletion from other layers;
2.8 Well Interventions.
2.9 Contribute to construct a new Unified simulation model.
2.10 Contribute to production optimisation activities covering the total integrated production system through PtL and Well-by-well reviews and regular multi-disciplinary meetings such as the Production and Injection Optimisation Forum. Monitor and Manage Reservoir.
2.11 Perform well tests and well test interpretations and incorporate results in modeling updates.
2.12 Manage Pressure, Fluid, Survey and SCAL Data.
2.13 Coordinate and participate in addressing development issues such development analysis, reservoir management plans, development optimisation and start-up programs. Provide reservoir-engineering input to the WRM and WRS plans.
2.14 Manage and co-ordinate to provide medium-term and long-term production forecasts to the SEIC business planning
2.15 Manage and co-ordinate the Reserves Estimation Reserves Booking and Reporting.
2.16 Provide reservoir-engineering input to the design and execution phases of the oil producer and water injection wells, in line with the well delivery process. This includes coordinate input to the WFS, GWD and well proposals; contribute to After Action Reviews and End of Well Reports etc.
2.17 Provide input to proposals for interventions to increase oil production such as workovers, rigless interventions, acid jobs and hydraulic fracture treatments.
2.18 Provide support to the SEIC Standing Commission when required.
2.19 Provide input to proposals for rigless well interventions to obtain data such as PLT surveys, MDT surveys and down-hole PVT sampling.
2.20 Provide coaching and competence development support for more junior RE in the asset team.
2.21 Support Annual reporting to the Russian Federation

3. Professional skills and competences:

3.1 Decrees, resolutions, orders of higher-level authorities, methodological, normative and such other guiding materials.
3.2 Basics economics, organization of production, labour and management
3.3 Currently valid regulations on work remuneration and forms of material incentives.
3.4 Basics of labour legislation.
3.5 Labour safety rules and standards, safety, sanitary and hygiene, and fire facilities.
3.6 Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and network positively and effectively with the asset teams and supporting groups, ensuring that project objectives and context are clearly transmitted.
3.7 Business English Language skills.
