Senior Process Engineer

The job envisages that an employee meets the following qualification requirements:

Education:

Higher professional education in Engineering.

The work experience under the speciality shall be 5 years.

2. Employee’s Responsibilities

The job responsibilities Senior Process Engineer are identified on the basis and in the scope of the qualification requirements Senior Process Engineer and may be amended and identified according to the Job Description as required.

Job Description:

The Central Engineering Discipline, of which the process discipline is part of, supports the project teams, the commissioning teams and the integrated asset during project development, commissioning and production phase.

The process discipline provides a comprehensive range of process engineering feasibility studies and facilities optimization services for all SEIC assets. Tthese services are primarily offered in the areas of project support, operations support, troubleshooting and production optimization.

The process engineering discipline is holder of the integrated asset process knowledge and provides the essential link between individual projects (hardware groups) and integrated facility production operations. The process engineers will provide the facility know-how and provides essential input into new opportunity developments (value creation).

In addition, the field engineering process discipline is linked in, supports and executes the activities of the business processes introduced by the global discipline leadership team.

Services are expected to be extended to include front-end-engineering for new developments in Sakhalin Energy.

• Ensure design integrity of the hardware teams process deliverables during hand over to central engineering;
• Analyzing performance and modelling of surface facilities, pipelines & plants in one of the largest and complex integrated gas supply chains, both static and dynamic;
• Determine and monitor operating envelopes, control systems and facility capacity and availability;
• Drive process engineering input into facility integrity;
• Identify and analyze new process engineering technology opportunities to improve current and future facility performance;
• Provide emission forecasting to meet company and regulatory requirements;
• Monitor and model plant energy efficiencies and maintain existing models;
• Provide technical support to project development (Greenfield and Brownfield);
• Develop process engineering studies and models and make recommendations to support engineering projects, field changes and Operational issues;
• Support Sakhalin Energy activities in the execution of the technical design accountability for process engineering;
• Act as custodian of the HAZOP and HAZID processes and develop a capability of safety engineering modeling.  Actively participate/ initiate and facilitate workshops were necessary as per OPMG guidelines or required for roadmap development;
• Organize and lead execution of field trials in close cooperation with Operations in support of process studies/models;
• Collect, maintain and manage key facilities process information and documents in an up-to-date state, such as PEFS drawings, line-lists, equipment data, etc;
• Maintain healthy and efficient communications with customers and peers.

• regulations and norms of labour protection;
• а thorough understanding of technical integrity schemes and Shell HSE management systems;
• experienced knowledge to use process modelling software PIPESIM and UNISIM (including dynamic simulations);
• standard basic process equipment and principles of operation;
• understanding of technical assurance processes as included in ORP, OPMG, and Global Processes.
• proficient English oral and written communications skills.
