Key Responsibilities:
Instrument Control Engineer shall ensure the followings:
- Keep close cooperation with Company to ensure that optimized values from the Instrument Control Engineering point of view are under continuous improvement.
- Provide required recommendations for Instrument Control Engineering optimization, - this shall include the followings (but not only):
- Setting up & efficiently use of Preventive Maintenance Policy for Instrument Control Equipment
- Controlling Field Instruments devices such as Gauges, Transmitters, Metering, etc.
- Controlling Field, Process & various Equipment Control Systems such as SCADA, Unit Control Panel, etc.
- Controlling of Metrology Equipment
- Controlling of the minimum required Stock for Instrument Control Equipment’s spare parts
- Control that Instrument Control related Documentations (including Drawings, Procedures, Certificates, etc.) are available, up to date
- Provide required supports in dealing with Vendors, Project Companies, etc. on any Instrument Control Engineering related matters, - that includes (but not only) that comprehensive & detailed State of Requirements (SOR) is submitted, the Third parties Documentations (including Contracts) are reviewed & commented from Instrument Control Engineering point of view, etc.
- Provide required support in achieving the most efficient Work Control, Emergency Response, Management of Change (MOC), and other systems’ set up & implementation.
- Provide Engineering inputs in Instrument Control related equipment/materials purchase via participation in the technical evaluation stage of the procurement process.
- Support all potential Brown Field & Green Field projects via providing Engineering inputs in Instrument Control Engineering subjects on setting up the State of Requirement, reviewing & accepting Base of new Design, participating in all required Risk Assessments processes (HazOp, HazId, EnvId, etc)
Requirements:
- University degree in any Instrument Engineer-related subject.
- Languages: Azeri, Russian & English
- Computer Skills, - Mycroft Office, - the capability to work in some specific planning software (such as SAP or Sun), - additional detailed training to be provided.
Preferred:
- Minimum 10 years experience in Oil Industry in an Instrument Control Engineer position.
- Proven Experience in working Oil Producing Fields are being under the 2nd & 3rd (Enhanced Oil Recovery) stages of the development process.
