The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It directs and coordinates the international relief activities conducted by the Movement in situations of conflict. It also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles. Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
The ICRC Delegation in Azerbaijan is seeking candidate, male or female, for the position of:

IT Technician  (Grade 4)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executes technical tasks on IT equipment such as maintenance, repair, installation under supervision of a qualified and experienced IT technician / Engineer
• Assists the IT responsible in the realization of computer and telecommunication infrastructures
• Ensures and is responsible for the storage of material and software
• Provides basic support to users

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

• Secondary school level or technical college
• 2 years work experience in a similar field of activity
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English. Russian is an asset.
• Very good network knowledge
• Capacity to adhere to and to implement procedures
• Good communication skills
• Rigor, method and analytical  skills
• Knowledge of VHF and HF

This is a full-time position, and the selected candidate will start as soon as possible.
