Job Description:
a) The candidate will perform the following essential functions.
b) Responsible for pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
c) Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
d) Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.
e) Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place.
f) Contributing to business development including leading the preparation and delivery of bids in the market.
g) Coordinate with internal staff to align functional response support (e.g. finance, HR, contracts, IT).
h) Provide guidance and regular updates to the senior management on all cost related operational & project issues.
i) Cost Manager / Senior Cost Engineer will manage an internal team to ensure deliverables and priorities are met.
j) Manage independent Cost estimation and Cost advice for developing and implementing various Capital, Production, HSE, Maintenance, Refinery Shutdown or Upgrade Projects.
k) Execute cost estimate for in-house Plants modification for optimizing and improving Refinery processes, production and HSE requirements.Manage performance against short-, mid- and long-term objectives.
