Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for management of transport related issues, requests for Barda Area of Responsibility and coordinates drivers
- Responsible for all drivers: their compensation, per diem, annual leave requests, performance forms, trainings and etc.
- Ensures that all Delegation vehicles are checked, ready to be driven and arranges regular service, maintenance and repairs
- Ensures that all vehicle fleet assets are in compliance with institutional and national rules concerning third party and Casco Insurance
- Monitors, controls, and reports all fuel related issues of vehicle fleet and generators based in ICRC Barda Sub-Delegation
- Responsible all vehicle fleet related accidents, follows all local traffic rules and regulations and institutional regulations
- Manages and operates institutional Fleet Management System (FWC) and ensures that all data entered to the system is acute and updated
- Be aware of all security related issue and implement them in daily activities
Desired Profile and Skills
- Secondary school or technical/professional school diploma
- Good command of English and good computer skills
- Driving license B for at least 5 years
- 2 years’ work experience in a similar field of activity
- Good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment
- Capacity to adhere to and to implement procedures
- Good communication skills, rigor, method and analytical skills
- Familiarity with all-terrain vehicles and VHF radio
This is a full-time position for an employment contract of 1-year duration (may be extendable). The duty station is located in BARDA.
