Responsibilities:

  • 1. Leadership & Team Coordination
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters, bartenders, and other service staff.
  • Ensure smooth operations and high-quality service in the dining area.
  • Train and mentor new staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interactions.
  • Assign duties and monitor staff performance during shifts.
  • Motivate the team to maintain excellent service and efficiency.
  • 2. Guest Service & Satisfaction:
  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor to oversee service quality.
  • Gather guest feedback and report concerns to management for improvement.
  • 3. Order & Inventory Management:
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Monitor food and beverage stock levels and inform management of replenishment needs.
  • Ensure the accuracy of guest orders and proper billing procedures.
  • Oversee table settings, cleanliness, and readiness before and after each service.
  • 4. Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal requirements.
  • 5. Sales & Revenue Enhancement:
  • Recommend menu items and upsell food and beverage options to maximize sales.
  • Promote special menus, promotions, or loyalty programs.
  • Monitor sales performance and suggest improvements to increase revenue.
  • 6. Reporting & Communication:
  • Communicate with management regarding operational challenges and improvements.

Requirements:

  • English language pre-intermediate and higher.
  • Expereince of work min 5 years.
  • 1. Experience & Skills:
  • Previous experience as an F&B Captain, Supervisor, or Senior Waiter (typically 2+ years).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage pairings, menu items, and ingredients.
  • Experience handling POS (Point of Sale) systems and order management.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
  • 2. Personal Qualities:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional attitude and well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Patience and diplomacy when handling guest concerns.
  • 3. Technical & Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Basic math skills for handling billing and payments.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays or small loads when needed.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • 4. Education & Language:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality or F&B management training is a plus).
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage, especially in international or tourist-heavy locations).
