Responsibilities:

  • 1. Team Leadership & Management:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the F&B team.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Assign duties and monitor staff performance during shifts.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and shift planning.
  • 2. Guest Service & Satisfaction:
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally.
  • Gather guest feedback and suggest service improvements.
  • 3. Operations & Coordination:
  • Monitor food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service efficiency.
  • Ensure all tables, dining areas, and service stations are set up and maintained properly.
  • Oversee stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of F&B supplies.
  • 4. Compliance & Safety:
  • Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the F&B department.
  • Ensure compliance with food handling, alcohol service, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, equipment, and staff adherence to safety guidelines.
  • 5. Sales & Revenue Optimization:
  • Promote upselling of food and beverages to maximize revenue.
  • Assist in planning special menus, promotions, and events.
  • Monitor sales performance and recommend strategies to improve profitability.
  • 6. Reporting & Communication:
  • Maintain records of inventory, staff attendance, and sales reports.
  • Prepare shift reports and communicate key updates to management.
  • Assist in budget planning and cost control measures.

Requirements:

  • English language pre-intermediate and higher.
  • 1. Experience & Skills:
  • Previous experience as an F&B Supervisor, Captain, or Senior Waiter (typically 2+ years).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu items, and pairings.
  • Experience handling POS (Point of Sale) systems and order management.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • 2. Personal Qualities:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional attitude and well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Patience and diplomacy when handling guest concerns or staff issues.
  • 3. Technical & Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Basic math skills for handling billing, payments, and inventory control.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays or small loads when needed.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • 4. Education & Language:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in hospitality or F&B management is a plus).
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage, especially in international or tourist-heavy locations).
