Reports to: Group Director of Finance

Qafqaz Gabala Hotels Group is currently seeking an experienced Group Purchasing Manager to join their team!

Requirements:

Education: University Degree (Economics)
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience purchasing in a hospitality
Language: Azeri, English
Computer skills: Good computer literacy (MS Office)
International hotels chain experience is preferred

Professional/Personal skills:

• Outstanding attention to detail whilst working within a fast-paced environment
• Superb organisational skills, identifying business priorities and accurately delegating tasks
• Previous experience working within the hospitality sector and familiarity with F&B suppliers in order to continuously improve procurement
• Excellent reporting and systems knowledge.
• Aware of all elements of stock management and stock taking, through ordering to requisitions.
• Flexibility to support other departments within the Group in order to guarantee the best possible service to guests
• Must possess extremely good judgment and independent decision making abilities
• Strong analytical, finance, negotiation, project management and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of ethical procurement practices
• Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills

Job Duties:

• Evaluate, negotiate and select vendors with consideration of price, quality, delivery and acceptability of items to specifications
• Analysis of buying trends, market conditions, budgets, material policies, suppliers, contracts, bids, proposals and vendor agreements
• Oversee all activities related to procurement from intent to purchase through delivery
• Participate in warehousing coordination and inventory control
• Strategic planning to trim costs and improve inefficiencies, tracking purchase costs and savings on monthly basis
• Meet profitability objectives set on an annual basis
