Role Overview

The Business Development Executive is responsible for contributing to ongoing business development and marketing strategy and the day to day execution of the sales and marketing plan.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling marketing content to promote solutions and services
• Identify and focus activities on the most effective marketing channels
• Manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels
• Research new business opportunities, identify new markets and create a business development plan
• Contact with prospects, understand their needs and validate them according to defined criteria
• Maintain a database of validated prospects and their status in the sales cycle
• Identify the best fit between client needs and services offered, developing end to end solutions
• Close deals with prospects and bring revenue into the company in accordance with agreed targets
• Maintain the post-sales relationship with customers and provide feedback on customer satisfaction
• Develop success metrics, agree them with management and regularly report on performance

Key skills and experience

• A minimum of 4 years work experience in services business development and marketing related roles
• Experience of network building and prospect management
• Experience of a variety of marketing channels (including social media)
• Experience in marketing content creative activities and campaign management activities
• Proactive, creative, solution/results-oriented approach to work
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, presentation, research, analytical, decision-making and critical thinking skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to develop strong and effective working relationships at all levels of seniority
• Strong relationship management skills
• Experience of customer focused roles, networking and problem-solving skills
• Good skills with typical Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Educational and language requirements

• University Graduate in a marketing, business administration or other business-related field
• Sales, marketing or business development training and certification evidence will be an advantage
• Strong written and oral communication in English
