BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Headstart International is seeking for a Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for generating new business avenues for the corporation.  This person will manage and execute the acquisition of new clients, accounts and projects. They will work with other departments including sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure proper follow through and account sustainability. Business development specialists are accountable for gathering data regarding their customers' markets. The applicant will work closely with the marketing department to help develop new business strategies, conduct market analysis, and develop new and improved methods for marketing products through various new and traditional media. This person will also take an active role in the community by engaging in educational opportunities, business and networking events, and professional organizations as a representative of Headstart International.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing preferred. Other experience includes, but is not limited to, public relations and business development. Persuasive writing, strong verbal communication and the ability to interact with the community are other key qualifications.
