Role purpose:
Deputy CEO supports CEO in managing overall company operations and serves as a key figure in procurement, logistics, tender management, client relations, financial oversight, and operational leadership. This position ensures the smooth functioning of business processes, cost-effective resource management, and the strengthening of customer and partner relations.
Additionally, Deputy CEO will play an active role in the promotion and development of the Alof brand, supporting daily operations, overseeing sales performance in stores, and ensuring effective procurement, logistics, and inventory management within the retail segment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage procurement and supply chain processes, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost-efficient sourcing.
- Supervise logistics, transportation, customs, and distribution for timely and effective delivery.
- Oversee tender preparation, submission, and compliance with legal and client requirements.
- Maintain strong client relations, represent the company in negotiations and business events.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and cost control, monitoring key performance indicators.
- Lead and coordinate staff, ensuring productivity, teamwork, and professional development.
- Prepare management reports and contribute to company strategy and decision-making.
- Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
- Implement internal control mechanisms to minimize risks and ensure operational efficiency.
- Support the promotion and market positioning of the Alof brand across retail and digital channels.
- Oversee daily operations of Alof stores, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth workflows.
- Monitor sales performance in retail locations, analyze trends, and implement sales growth strategies.
- Manage procurement and supplier relations specifically for Alof’s product categories.
- Supervise logistics and distribution for retail outlets, ensuring product freshness, quality, and timely delivery.
- Control inventory management in stores and warehouses, minimizing losses and ensuring product availability.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Lead and manage a team of six employees (3 in Promco and 3 in Alof), ensuring high performance, motivation, and accountability.
- Own day-to-day operational execution across departments to deliver on strategic goals.
Requirements:
- Higher education in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or a related field is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in procurement, logistics, tenders, and operations.
- Financial literacy and understanding of business management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Leadership abilities with experience in managing teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizes, and deliver results.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Applicants must be fluent in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
- Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and social media is preferred.
- Must be honest, fair, and responsible.

Compensatiton:
The planned salary for this position is 3,000 AZN NET, with additional performance-based bonuses provided throughout the year.
