NOV is a leading worldwide provider of equipment and components used in oil and gas drilling and production operations, oilfield services, and supply chain integration services to the upstream oil and gas industry. Products include all the heavy hardware for oil well drilling as well as drilling instrumentation and controls and drilling power generation and control. Products also include instruments and controls required on the rig floor for the drilling operation.

POSITION: Service Technician   

LOCATION: Baku-Azerbaijan

START DATE:   ASAP

WORKING SCHEDULE:  5 days/week, plus overtime as and when required

TYPE OF CONTRACT:  Permanent

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE:  General oilfield related equipment.  Servicing /striping & assembly of gate valves and all flow line treating iron.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 Maintaining good atmosphere around work/ cooperation with other coworker
 Adhering to company HSE policies
 Carry out written and verbal communications in a professional manner
 Capable of completing job / inspection reports
 Knowledge of products

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:  

Formal Education Certificate and 5 years minimum in a Mechanical Environment in Oil field.
Certificate in API
Experience in offshore works

LANGUAGE SKILLS: English language skills are an advantage
