POSITION:  HSE Coordinator

LOCATION:   Baku-Azerbaijan

START DATE:   ASAP

WORKING SCHEDULE:  5 days/week 

TYPE OF CONTRACT:  Permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Ensure all personnel work in compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
• Maintain registers for corrective and preventative actions and safety/environmental incidents
• Responsible for managing the company “STOP for Safety Program”
• Coordinate the collection & collation of all HS & E data
• Prepare& Summary reports on HS & E statistics
• Provide administrative support to all managers and supervisors on HS & E related matters
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on routine HS & E matters
• Assist in company, customers & any 3rd party and Government Authority audits
• Responsible for monitoring waste management and compliance with environment licenses and consent limits. 
• Carry out risk/COSHH/environmental assessments
• Arranging the safety meetings
• Communicating facility HS & E issues to facility employees notice boards
• To act in an advisory capacity to Senior Management on Health and Safety matters
• Responsible for the development, preparation, maintenance, approval and implementation of the Management System and Procedures
• Responsible for the issue and control of all HS & E  documents
• Responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Company in meeting statutory obligations
• Responsible for assisting with training and awareness programs.
• Responsible for conducting the meetings of the Safety Committee when necessary
• Responsible for together with purchasing department and department managers seeking alternative methods and materials to eliminate hazards at source
• Responsible for assisting in monitoring the competence and awareness of sub-contractors
• Responsible for participation in management review activities
• Ensuring compliance with Company and statutory requirements by undertaking internal audit activities
• Any other duties required from Manager on request.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:

• Management System Standards ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
• Knowledge of Current Health and Safety and Environmental legislation in Azerbaijan

Education: Bachelor Degree in Environmental Health or any related fields

Experience:  At least 5 years of experience in HSE role

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Good knowledge of English
