POSITION: Rigger 

LOCATION: Baku-Azerbaijan

START DATE: ASAP

WORKING SCHEDULE: 5 days/week 

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: Oilfield Manufacturing / Inspection

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Loads, transports, unloads and assists in selecting pipes and ropes
• Attaches load with grappling devices such as pipes, ropes and chains to crane hook
• Assembles and disassembles cranes
• Move pipes to and from trucks, using truck winches and motorized lifts, or by hand.
• Unscrew or tighten pipes, casing, tubing, and pump rods, using hand and power wrenches and tongs.
• Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving of  forklifts
• Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, in order to ensure safety of workers and materials.
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:

• Qualified trained/ experience rigger and approved with Third Party certifications
• Able to supervise Rigger II and Rigger III
• Able to calculate, prepare, review and approve/perform lift plans (Critical & Non Critical)
• Able to do inspections of all lifting equipment and devices

Education: May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Experience:  At least 5 years rigging experience in a yard or site environment ideally in Oilfield 
Language skills:  Good command of English, with Azeri/Russian languages would be advantageous.
