Amec Foster Wheeler is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Piping Designer Supports (National)
The successful candidates should have the following capabilities:
• A minimum of 3 years suitable experience of piping design with the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Detailed knowledge of one or more of the project design areas
• Ability to understand and comply with the requirements of the Project Job Design Specification, the relevant Procedures, Specification, Standards applicable to the project .
• Knowledge of Principal Piping Engineer requirements for the Project.
• Ability to undertake additional responsibilities in supervising areas of work or special functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:
• Implement Company, and where applicable, Client/Project policies and procedures.
• Checking and preparation of design/engineering documentation.
• Undertake tasks on behalf of Principal Engineer or Senior Engineer as directed.
• Undertake work in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards and Procedures.
• Assist with surveys necessary to develop area of work assigned.
• Develop awareness of relevant Codes and Standards.
• Ensure all design drawings and documents are complete within the allocated hours and in accordance with the programme.
• Preparation of detailed drawings and documents to the requirements of the Principal Designer/Senior Designer/Lead Engineer.
• Ensure all discipline design interfaces are clearly defined.
• Liaise with other disciplines, departments, project personnel, vendors etc
