Job responsibilities:
- Implementing and maintaining Enterprise System architecture with development strategies for SOCAR and its groups companies.
- Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Enterprise IT System environment/architecture at most optimal performance, high availability and secure level.
- Responsible for executing Enterprise Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity operations for SOCAR and its group companies
- To ensure that the servers and server infrastructure services are running 24/7,
- Responsible of ensuring that corporate data centers are operated at international standards
- L2/L3 support for requests from the helpdesk,
- Responsible for the implementation of the designated client and server domain security policies
- Responsible for the implementation of specific security policies on the corporate web services available to Public Internet,
- Responsible for designing Identity Management (SailPoint) and Privileged Access Management (CyberArk), managing components and ensuring it’s operational for SOCAR and its group companies,
- Responsible for designing and operational continuity of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, DNS services and
- User Authentication Protocols (LDAPs, OpenID, SAML etc), of SOCAR and its group companies,
- Responsible for analyzing the business needs, planning improvements and managing MS SharePoint and One
- Drive online storage for SOCAR and its group companies,
- Responsible for designing and operational continuity of the Certificate Management
- Responsible for designing and implement data exchange and transfer solutions like Central File Server (FileOrbis,
- Ms File Server), FTPS(Cerberus) and DataRoom (KiteWorks) of SOCAR and its group companies,
- Responsible for administration and enrolling Change Auditor (Quest) policies for SOCAR and its groups companies.
- Responsible for the appropriate managing / administering of privileged account policies within IT System infrastructure,
- Responsible for manage and reporting of service performance criteria related to IT system infrastructure services,
- To determine standards, policies and procedures related to IT system infrastructure.
- Ensuring that the IT system infrastructure operates uninterruptedly, securely, up-to-date and efficiently.
- Responsible of identifying IT system infrastructure risks, taking precautions and escalating to a higher level when necessary,
- Report the IT infrastructure activities to the line manager,
- Responsible for monitoring and taking necessary actions on Information security and violations logs concerning the system infrastructure.
- Responsible for the periodic updating procedures of systems, monitoring and eliminating the security vulnerabilities.
- Responsible for keeping records and regularly update the inventory and licenses related to the IT system infrastructure,
- To execute change management activities related to IT system infrastructure,
- Manage relationship to the manufacturer necessary
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- International IT infrastructure technologies know how needs to be gathered to bring best practices to SOCAR
- 5+ years’ total experience in IT systems
- Knowledge to ITIL concepts and adoption,
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis and design,
- Technical & deep understanding of its responsibility infrastructure system,
- IT applications, operations, service and support organizations,
- Development and implementation of processes and policies
- Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
- Maintain IT systems up & running,
- Identifies and acts upon opportunities for continuous improvement,
- Planning, designing, building and implementation of IT services including new development and major enhancements to existing systems
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management,
- Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources internal and external to the enterprise to enhance capabilities that support business objectives,
- Proven presentation skills, team working skills, excellent listening and interpersonal skills
