About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Mid-Level RPA Developer to join our IT team supporting automation projects in the oil & gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining RPA solutions to optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy RPA workflows and automation solutions using industry best practices
• Prepare and maintain documentation of RPA processes, workflows, and configurations
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing automations for better performance and reliability
• Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and IT stakeholders to identify and deliver automation opportunities
• Monitor bot performance, perform enhancements, and ensure operational stability
• Follow established development standards, best practices, and reusable component guidelines
• Prepare and execute test cases, conduct unit and UAT testing
• Prepare technical specifications and gather requirements for new automation initiatives
• Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and problems within the Service Catalog framework.
• Implement and oversee changes in alignment with the organization's Change Management practices and protocols.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere
• Solid understanding of RPA lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Proficiency in creating complex bots with loops, conditions, variables, error handling, and data manipulation
• Familiarity with web and desktop automation, screen scraping, and selectors
• Knowledge of APIs, Excel automation, and file/data input-output operations
• Experience with exception handling, debugging, and performance optimization
• Fundamental knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, C#, or Java
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Ability to write scripts or expressions to support bot logic and workflow integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Interest in digital transformation and automation within the oil & gas industry
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and in a team environment
