Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC Baku LLC”) is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

Following successful commencement of Production the Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC. 

We are currently looking for Construction Project Manager to join the Company.

The duties will include (but not limited to):

• Charting out the project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants
• Bringing about optimum utilization of resources-labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms
• Implementation of various operations through proper coordination
• Oversee the construction project from start to finish
• Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed
• Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking if team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project
• Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule
• Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams
• Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standarts
• Periodic inspection of construction sites
• Ensure project documents are complete
• Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. A postgraduate degree in construction management is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years experience in construction projects
• Good understanding of MEP building systems
• Fluent in Azeri and English
• Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standarts is essential
• Outstanding Communication, and Negotiation skills
• Ability to plan and organize a team effort
• Self starting person, taking responsibilities and initiatives
• Deliver high quality and ultimate work
