Work function:

  • To assist on constant improvement of processes and department performance
  • To responsible for strategic analysis and management of inventory and rate strategy to maximize total revenue opportunities
  • Cross checks hotel availability, room type availability / overbookings, rate parity, rate availability and forecasted demand for the next 90 to 180 days (Demand Analysis Strategy (İDEAS) report)
  • To focus on driving Total Hotel Profit Optimization (VİA İDEAS):
  • Participate and facilitate the weekly RevMAX meetings
  • To complete all rooms forecasting to accurately project demand and pick up for groups and transient, both short and long term
  • To coordinate updates/stay restrictions or rate changes to reflect the hotel selling strategy in response to the market demand
  • Works with Director of Revenue and Reservations to ensure the hotel set up in all distribution systems are correct and reflect the selling strategy. (this includes the GRC, CRS, Channel Manager, GDS and Wholesalers, OTAS)
  • Maintains records pertaining to market segments, transient pace numbers, forecasts, statistics and other rooms data
  • To prepares all reports for the RevMAX meetings with information to be distributed to all participants
  • To participate in the annual budgeting, marketing and strategic planning process
  • To  records competitive set pricing and yield strategies and completes analysis on the market and its opportunities based upon the competition and previous history
  • To participates in weekly RevMAX and Group Meetings and presents weekly revenue agenda items
  • Monitors transient potential and group bookings daily to set up the pricing and availability control for all reservation distribution sources
  • Creating and updating all rate codes in the PMS and CRS
  • Achieve potential market position through a maximization of RevPAR index over the competitive set
  • Preparation of month-end reports and sending to relevant persons
  • To provide politely assistance and proper coordination to hotel staff and guests
  • Participate in weekly department meetings, daily meetings and trainings
  • Working in the 1C corporate program, adding the monthly attendance schedule to the system
  • To acquire knowledge of Health/Safety
  • Knowledge used to solve problems or questions in a timely manner is managed properly
  • To comply with the requirements set by the rules on appearance (dress rules)
  • Understand and adhere to all departmental guidelines and policies
  • Immediately report directly to the manager about any technical problems and necessary needs in the work process
  • To fulfill another purpose determined by the direct manager
  • To assist the work of others of the department
  • Prepare and submit all reports directly to the manager during the period of duty;

Qualification:

  • Higher education (tourism and hotel management)
  • 2 years of work experience in a relevant position
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows computer programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Must possess professional telephone etiquette and have an excellent command 
  • Fluent Azerbaijani, English, Russian language
  • Strong team player who can work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Dynamic, willing to learn
  • Leadership, organization, guest service skills
  • Ability to be flexible at all times and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency 
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks at the same time.
