The Document Controller (Commercial Department) is responsible for ensuring that commercial activities run smoothly by maintaining accurate and organized documentation, facilitating efficient communication, and supporting compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Reports to Quantity Survey and Cost Control manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • All kinds of commercial paperwork and records work within the framework and information of the specific project.
  • Provision of controlled and registered commercial documents, correspondence, and information flow between internal and external parties, departments, and persons
  • Provision of document flow in accordance with the requirements of the Project Management and local Legislation.
  • Providing assistance with budget reports/presentations
  • Preparation of Purchase Orders for the assigned project.
  • Updating the tender log, VO, PO, Vendor Database, and Contract register.
  • Archiving all types of commercial documentation.
  • Updating the vendor list, and evaluation of contractors.

Desired background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, civil engineering, architecture, and related fields will be considered.
  • Required experience: 1 year.

Required skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, basic AutoCAD, or other measuring software.
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Business fluency in Azerbaijani, good knowledge of English.
