The Mechanical engineer is responsible for performing general site supervision over mechanical QA/QC works and prepares related reports for the Project Manager.

Key Accountabilities: 

• Attending Inspections for listed executed works by the contractor below and taking over the works on behalf of the client as per local and project standards.

1. All Mechanical First Fix Works
2. All Mechanical Third Fix Works
3. All Testing and Commissioning Works

• Issuing NCRs during or after execution of works, re-inspection of NCRs after corrective actions, closing of NCRs
• Record of NCRs and Inspections in reporting format
• Preparation of Snag Lists prior to Handover
• Close-out Documentation Review and Approval (O&M Manuals, As-built Drawings, Warranties, Asset Register, Key Register)

Desired background:

• Experience in Hotel or Hospitality construction projects as a QA/QC or Construction Mechanical Engineer
• Good command of English, both written and spoken

Required skills:

• Degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Familiar with Local and International Norms for Mechanical Works
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Client/Developer side experience is preferable.
