The Architect will be responsible for assisting project managers on design management and implementing new development projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in design development and project management practices in our development group.
Key Accountabilities:
Researches, plans, designs and administers building projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials.
Determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
Plans layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for review and approval.
Prepares Power Point presentations for the potential projects and progress reports for the existing ones.
Prepares RFPs for designer, consultant, and contractor tenders. Assists in the tender process and monitoring the scope of work.
Assists in the coordination of the project stakeholders during the design development stage.
Conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with the tender documents.
