Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advisory and support services to designated business units, including advice and guidance on HR policies and recommendations.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching to leaders of designated business functions including policy interpretation and application, performance management and employee relations issues.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations if needed.
  • Develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage, and retain strong and diverse talent, with an eye for longer-term growth and stability.
  • Perform talent acquisition to ensure robust candidate pipeline. Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
  • Network and build contacts to source candidates better in the future.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Outstanding verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high degree of attention to detail and comfort working with ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills regularly to identify issues and trends, develop solutions and/or recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise strong judgment in sensitive situations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Education and Experience:

  • University degree in HRM or MBA.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR generalist having expertise in especially talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations ideally.
  • Experience in a high volume, fast paced and customer focused environment (preferably with experience in banking and FMCG companies).
  • Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani and English, Russian is desirable.
  • HR certifications (SHRM, CIPD, HRCI etc.) will be considered an advantage.
