Job Responsibilities:

  • Interact with key stakeholders in identifying business needs, building relationships and selling the features and benefits of early procurement involvement;
  • Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement, Quotation, Tender and Request for Proposal;
  • Develop detailed sourcing and category plans to maximize effectiveness and efficiency; 
  • Work with finance team throughout the procurement cycle to assist with forecasting and budgeting;
  • Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency;
  • Manage preparation, implementation and execution of procurement processes;
  • Follow up potential suppliers during preparation phase of tenders and guarantee necessary secrecy during tendering phase;
  • Buy materials/services on behalf of the company and its projects, optimize costs, observe requested time limits and quality standards;
  • Follow up any subsequent revisions of the order;
  • Ensure the accurate completion of all procurement requests to include the proper documentation of materials and cost expenditures;
  • Prepare Supply contracts/modification/termination with obtaining specific contract documents/certificates;
  • Perform sourcing, liaising and negotiating with new and existing suppliers to improve business;
  • Review supplies, works and services to ensure compliance with company procedures and best procurement practice;
  • Maintain positive working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met;

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field preferred;
  • 3-5 year  work experience as a procurement specialist in the same area required;
  • Good knowledge of  SAP;
  • Additional certification in the field of procurement desired;
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian and English ;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Strong knowledge of market conditions;
  • Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building;
  • Meeting Deadlines;

Working conditions:

  • Location: Baku office;
  • Work schedule: 5 days;
  • Working hours: 09:00 - 18:00;
  • Medical insurance;
  • Salary: Will be determined according to the candidate's knowledge and skills during the interview;
