Position : Storeman , Reports to Supply Chain manager
Salary range : 650 AZN net
•Receive and count stock and non-stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
•Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, protectors area or storage yards.
•Ensure inward goods meet required Quality standards & specifications.
•Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
•Assist with periodical stocktakes and the annual stocktake, reconciling inventory records and physical counts.
•Assist in ensuring that accurate inventory control records are maintained.
•Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, protectors area or other areas.
•Ensure Goods are stored correctly to minimize possibility of damage or deterioration.
•Assist with the development of stores procedures and practices to cover all aspects of material storage and distribution.
•Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
•Ensure accurate inventory control records are maintained.
•Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
•Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
•Ensure appropriate safety standards are maintained in the stores, storage areas and yard.
•Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock.
•Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
•Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
•Organize disposal of damaged or defective items, or return them to vendors.
•Recommend disposal of excess or obsolete stock.
•Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods received, used or issued.
•Monitor material issuance in order to facilitate FIFO (First In First Out).
•Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
•Allocate material in MOVEX to respective Jobs on receipt & GRN Goods.
•Advise, wherever possible, internal users on the appropriateness of parts, supplies, or materials requested.
•Prepare documents/Purchase Requisitions that provide for purchase of new or additional stock.
•Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents in order to assess supply needs.
•Use MOVEX / ACCESS for requisition and receipt of materials.
•Confer with engineering/operations and purchasing personnel regarding stock procurement and availability.
•Prepare products, supplies, equipment, or other items for use by adjusting or assembling them as necessary.
•Assist with administration work involved in the stores and purchasing function.
•Assist in liaison with Supervisors on forward planning of supplies, delivery dates and any adjustments/modifications to specifications.
•Ensure on site /office requirements are met with regards to consumables i.e. diesel, water, gases, etc.
•Perform light manual labor

•Prior storekeeping experience helpful.
•Proficient oral and written communication skills and computer literature.
•Familiarity with oil equipment.
•Should be able to work closely with fellow employees.
•Technical representation and customer liaison.
•Knowledge of Azeri, Russian, English
