TECHNICAL EXPERTS – AZERBAIJAN TRADE LINKAGES AND AGRIBUSINESS STRENGTHENING (ATLAS) - AZERBAIJAN

Tetra Tech ARD, headquartered in Burlington, Vermont (http:www.tetratechintdev.com) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified Technical Expertsfor a potential position on the USAID funded Azerbaijan Trade Linkages and Agribusiness Strengthening (ATLAS) Program. The Project will support the diversification of the economy through initiatives that assist small and medium sized agribusinesses and farmers to grow, and to improve the trade regulatory environment by assisting the Government of Azerbaijan to reduce the barriers to competition and trade.Long and short term positions available.

Tetra Tech seeks candidates qualified in the following technical areas:

* Agricultural inputs value chain development
* Production and post-harvest handling of High Value Agricultural (HVA) products 
* Agribusiness development
* Agricultural marketing
* Quality improvement, standards and certification
* Enabling the agricultural policy environment, trade regulation, WTO and EU accession
* Public Private Partnership and Strategic Alliance development
* Food Security and Nutrition
* Agricultural Extension, Communications and Outreach
* Project monitoring and evaluation, and impact assessment
* Grants and subcontracts management

In addition, we seek candidates for the following administrative positions:

* Administrative and Finance Manager
* Primary Accountant
* Financial Assistant
* Administrative Assistant
* Logistician 

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

* Master's degree in a related field of expertise preferred (for senior technical and administrative positions), or at least 7 years of technically relevant experience.
* A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field/position of interest.
* Prior experience working on agricultural production or value chain development projects funded by USAID or by other major donors. At least five years’ experience preferred.
* Professional, relevant experience in Azerbaijan is essential, regional experience also highly preferred.
* Fluency in English language (reading, speaking and writing) preferred.
* Azeri language skills required.
* Private sector agribusiness experience (management, production, etc.) highly desirable.
