Main duties:

  • Adheres to and enforces Help Services Procedures designed to provide responsiveness to requests for assistance in support of business needs;
  • Provisioning support for user requests;
  • Supporting Microsoft Office 365 platform (Office apps, OneDrive, Teams);
  • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers;
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications;
  • Support and administer third-party applications;
  • Ensure network security and connectivity;
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses;
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords;
  • Resolve problems reported by end user;
  • Define network policies and procedures;
  • Specify system requirements and design solutions;
  • Research and make recommendations on server system administration;
  • Printer configuration and troubleshooting;
  • Configuration and support of corporate applications and services;
  • Setup and/or configuration of network devices, such as access points, switches, etc;
  • Registering user requests in ticket management system;
  • Offer suggestions for possible problem solution, upgrades and changes within the IT department;
  • Tracks all end user computing equipment from receipt through disposal;
  • Define software, hardware and network requirements;
  • Installs hardware and software to meet end user requirements;
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
  • Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related field;
  • Proven experience in a network administrator role;
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching;
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure;
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired;
  • Certification in a related field is an advantage;
  • Ability to quickly establish good working relationships;
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communications and organisational skills;
  • Russian and Azerbaijan languages Fluent or Advanced, English Intermediate or higher may be acceptable (with ability to read technical documentation);
  • Good understanding of computer systems, local network, mobile devices and other tech products;
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues;
