Job description:

• Executes the receiving inspections on civil materials.
• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to Client’s requirements
• Report on defective work and non-conformities .
• Checks the daily RFIs coming from subcontractors.
• Sends daily RFIs to Employer.
• Checks the preparation before casting.
• Checks the conditions and quality of the concrete during casting.
• Checks and monitor concrete curing after casting
• Check and witness concrete crush tests
• Checks for the Precast concrete and related tests
• Checks grouting activities and related tests
• Checks back filling activities and related backfilling and compaction tests
• Checks excavation activities and related tests
• Checks the sampling operations (when required).
• Reviews the third-party laboratory examination results.
• Check the documents certifying the tests, controls and inspections carried out to close out both digital and hard copy RFIs
• Release of foundations from civil discipline to other discipline
• Checks the road and paving works and related tests
• Checks steel structure inspections

Knowledge & Qualifications:

• University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

Experience: 

• Relevant experience in construction/modernization of oil & gas /industrial sector/ EPC projects large refinery plants;
• At least 3 years of experience in the specific discipline;
• Similar role covered in last three projects of comparable size;
• Experience working on Contractor side.

Skills and Abilities:

• Fluent Azerbaijani and English;
• Good IT and analytical skills;
• Attention to detail, excellent communications skills;
• Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
