Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to achieve industry level sourcing capabilities & competencies
- Responsible to source, negotiate and arrange goods from both local and overseas vendors
- Responsible to follow up on RFQs quoted to customer for obtaining business
- Evaluate vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required by the customer
- In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment
- In charge of Inventory management & responsible for all related data management in ERP
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards. delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the Allied requirements and expectation.
- Maintain purchase database in excel & ERP as per management direction.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Maintain all related data in presentable manner for manager review.
- Role of expeditor to ensure all critical business goals are achieved as per target.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Language skills: English, Azerbaijani, Russian,
- Computer skills: Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Basic knowledge in the field of cargo transportation and logistics
- Ability to communicate, be responsible and work as a team
- Ability to think analytically
- Enthusiastic about work, open to innovation
- Prone to learning
