Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Improve an organization’s market position and achieve financial growth;
  • Identify business opportunities by daily checking government’s Tender portal and news/media/social networks;
  • Research and build relationships with new clients;
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals;
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs;
  • Apply to Tenders and prepare all tender documents
  • Work on any requisition forwarded by management and prepare quotations 
  • Carry out the research of the vendors for the materials to be purchased and to select the appropriate vendor due to the quality and price;
  • Any other relevant duties which may be required towards overall growth and increased profitability of the Company. 
  • Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
  • Report to sales manager and director on the performance of the business development implementation 
  • Able to travel on business as and when required.
  • Have the highest integrity and confidentiality relating to all matters of business and any personnel associated with the Company.

General:

  • To be familiar and comply with Company’s  
  • financial and budget management standards and procedures 
  • Health and Safety policies and procedures  
  • Code of Business Conduct and anti-bribery/anti-corruption policies and procedures  
  • To take advantage of staff development opportunities and periodic performance reviews in accordance with terms and conditions specified by the Company
  • To assist in the day-to-day administrative duties as appropriate and to produce written reports and financial records as required by your line manager
  • To undertake other reasonable duties at the request of the line manager.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Age: 45-48
  • Fluent in Azerbaijani, English, Russian;
  • Advanced in MS Office applications;
  • Having a Driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Administration, MBA, Sales, and Engineering.
  • 3 years of Sales and Business Development experience, with at least 1-year hands-on Sales/Business development experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
  • General knowledge of electrical items
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Highly organized and good planner;
  • Results oriented;
  • Hard working and dynamic person;
  • Analytic and rational thinking;
  • Able to work under pressure;
  • Able to meet deadlines;
  • Exhibits good negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Strong customer relationship experience, working in close partnership with internal functions and suppliers;  
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas or Electrical sector 
  • Knowledge on electrical Equipment
  • Excellent problem solving and organization skills
  • Good presentation skills

The appropriate manager in consultation with the post holder will conduct this procedure. In these circumstances it will be the aim to reach agreement on reasonable changes, but if agreement is not possible the Company reserves the right to make changes to your job description following consultation.
