Procurement Sourcing Specialist

Job responsibilities:  

  • Evaluation of vendors and suppliers based on quality, price, and speed of delivery;
  • Communicate frequently with vendors to learn about their products, services, and prices;
  • Prepare reports on the suppliers and vendors and submit them for review;
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and network with new suppliers;
  • Be informed about the accurate price, quality, availability, and reliability of a product;
  • Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as with existing suppliers;
  • Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation;
  • Analyze vendor capabilities and conduct supplier assessments;
  • Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies;
  • Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency;
  • Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related fields;
  • Knowledge of Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages;
  • Ability to build the right work process;
  • Ability to work in a team environment; 
  • Ability to make accurate decisions based on analysis, experience, organizational and judgment skills;
  • Analytical thinking skills;
  • Ability to work reliably and correctly when not supervised;
  • Computer soft skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel is mandatory).
