Junior Procurement Specialist

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Record orders and requests as well as the procurement process;
  • Coordinate with the logistics department for delivery of purchased goods and services, customs clearance, and registration of declarations;
  • Support the qualitative delivery of goods, taking into account the terms of the contract, the needs of the customer, and market conditions;
  • Register orders and monitor order fulfillment on time;
  • Support the development of the source of delivery, as well as domestic and foreign market database to ensure qualitative goods and services, delivery schedule and work standards;
  • Study market conditions, follow market news, and perform other functions required in procurement field;
  • Assist in monitoring internal and external documents, filling out customer reports and archiving customer documents;
  • Assist in the logistics-related issues;
  • Taking the records of purchase orders;
  • Update and record the list of suppliers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’ degree;
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian;
  • At least 1 year of experience in this field;
  • Have a background in IT filed;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Ability to make accurate decisions based on analysis, experience, organizational and judgment skills;
  • Analytical thinking skills;
  • Ability to work reliably and correctly when unsupervised;
  • Ability to use personal computer (PC), e-mail, internet, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project).
