Requirements:

  • High School Education
  • 5-8 years’ experience in bid management and procurement (in construction industry)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of business best practices
  • Teamwork and management skills
  • Fluent in Azeri/English, written & Spoken
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Review RFQ/RFP received from the Client, assigns & manage tasks according to priorities within the department
  • Attend the bid overview meetings with technical personnel to understand the bid strategy and procurement methods
  • Supervise all internal and external communication to guarantee daily tasks and assignments are consistently responded to in timely manner
  • Generate procurement log reports and manage subcontractors’ procurement plans
  • Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
  • Perform all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender documents
  • Lead a team of Buyers and delegate tasks across departments as necessary
  • Develop strong relationships with Project stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve procurement
  • Develop and implement procedures for procurement risk management and mitigation measures
  • Ensure most effective and efficient logistics methods are selected for materials delivery and monitor progress closely
  • Any other tasks as may be required by Project Manager
