Duties:
- Responsible for technical integrity of the machinery;
- Handover of machinery to and from the client; preparation of all related documentation (defect acts, handover act, timesheets etc.);
- Prepare weekly/monthly service plan based on plant engine hours;
- Manage service team and ensure that the technical breakdowns are resolved in an efficient manner;
- Keep the registry of plant certification/registration updated;
- Provide pre-job instructions to maintenance team;
- Carry out daily Tool Box Talks with maintenance team and maintain related records (TBT forms);
- Prepare monthly KPI report (man hours, engine hours etc.)
- Prepare monthly spare parts/consumables issuing report;
- Prepare plant condition report based on inspections results;
- Prepare and monitor the records related to daily repairs/maintenance work;
- Regularly update the client on the status of maintenance process;
- Respond to clients’ requirements in a timely manner;
- Prepare monthly inspection plan and ensure that inspections are carried out accordingly;
- Technical verification of spare parts required for maintenance;
- Control and verification of repair/manufacturing works carried out by third party companies;
- Ensure that service, maintenance and complaints are translated into action;
- Initiate improvements by co-operation with all departments;
- Guiding, coordinating and initiating internal and external tasks where service is concerned
Skills/Qualifications:
- Relevant education or experience in working with diesel engines and hydraulic systems;
- Proven competency in servicing and repair of plant, equipment, vehicles and material handling equipment;
- A minimum of 3-4 years related experience in industry;
- Ability to communicate and work as a team;
- Intermediate English reading, writing and language skills;
- Thorough understanding of HSE requirements & behavior.
- Experience in working on managerial positions is a benefit
