Technical Sales Engineer (Pumps & valves)

Major responsibilities:

- Provide a high level of technical and commercial application support to sales force, partners to ensure proper selection and application of pump products.
- Effectively communicate and educate customers on our products, applications.
- Clarify technical and commercial issues with customers and offer competitive alternatives.
- Preparation of timely and accurate proposals and technical submittals
- Participate in customer claims review meetings and provide technical support as needed.
- Attend techno-commercial negotiations with customer as required with / without sales colleagues
- To be able to highlight, analyses and solve technical queries faced during technical negotiations with / without the support of immediate superior and / or sales colleagues.
- Select pumps and its accessories in accordance with enquiries and / or tender specifications in consultation with immediate superior.
- Review and provide confirmation / justification / deviations on tender specifications in consultation with immediate superior.
- On receipt of order; to ensure proper compilation of Customers Purchase Order
- Update technical documentation and price lists from factories and / or suppliers.
- Coordinate with Vendor factories and suppliers for equipment and / or accessories in order to have timely execution of quotations, order processing and manufacturing processes.
- Follow up regularly with respective sales colleagues on status of projects / quotes submitted.
- Conduct techno-commercial negotiations with factories and / or suppliers in order to maximize the chances to secure the project / order.
- Perform additional task assigned by Line-Manager in line with organization`s requirements.
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Solving client problems

Requirements profile:

- Degree in Engineering / Diploma in Engineering(Preferable mechanical engineering or related).
- Theoretical knowledge on pumps and valves
- Minimum two (2) years’ of working experience in pump industry is an added advantage.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and research new product knowledge as required.
- Strong team work, flexible and able to accommodate changing priorities and directions.
- Good command of Azeri , English is must , knowledge of Russian will be an advantage
