Main Responsibilities --> What you will do.

• Be responsible for implementing, driving and optimizing company SEO strategy & roadmap.
• Lead, coach and mentor the SEO projects and work with vendors ensuring they have a vision and clear objectives.
• Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
• Monitor key SEO KPIs and prepare and present reports regularly
• Support building the right internal SEO tools that support scale and growth of the SEO program.
• Map out site architecture and content URLs for new and existing verticals to ensure optimal search visibility and user experience.
• Perform keyword research, grow our targeted keyword portfolio, plan new vertical content, and assign content to writers through editorial workflow.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in our content coverage and areas of opportunity.
• Evaluate cannibalizing URLs and determine appropriate redirect or repurpose strategy for older content.
• Monitor daily performance of site rankings with a focus on increasing and defending our rankings.
• Audit our internal linking on an ongoing basis to improve the search visibility for our highest value pages.
• Collaborate across various teams, coordinate content, design, social media, performance marketing and other activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEO in line with industry trends.

Qualifications:

• At least 5-7 years in a SEO role at fast paced businesses.
• Experience with enterprises with large sets of landing pages & high trafficked websites.
• History of managing and developing teams. Natural coach, mentor and talent magnet, able to empower and provide direction to the team
• Thorough understanding of SEO techniques, tools, digital channels, proactively keeping up to date with the latest innovations.
• Expertise in SEO split testing and other testing methods
• SME on Schema markups, scaling on-page content with UGC, Mobile SEO etc.
• Deep technical experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Advanced knowledge of analytical software such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, DeepCrawl, Ahrefs
• Highly collaborative with excellent partner management skills, capable of earning trust from the team and fellow leaders
• Passionate about SEO and proactive in staying up to date on all the latest trends and best practices.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Experience working with large brands driving outcomes for highly trafficked websites.
• A self-starter who learns quickly and is willing and eager to adapt as the business does.
• Relentless pursuit of self-improvement.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: 18,000AZN - 36,000AZN per year based on experience / varies per candidate qualifications

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm NY time.
