Project Accountant (50%)

The Swiss non – governmental organization HEKS – EPER in South Caucasus is announcing a vacancy of Accountant for its FARMS project (facilitating access to animal resources and markets).

Work location:    Agjabedi, Azerbaijan
Position info:  Accountant for livestock market development project in Agjabedi and Beylegan regions
Position schedule:  ASAP
Work load:  50 % (2.5 days a week)

Job Description:

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Independently execute financial operation of the project such as maintaining the office financial system, provide compiled annual report and financial quarterly report to HO in Tbilisi.
Implement the financial monitoring of partner mandates by conduct on-site financial monitoring and produce monitoring report, review of proposals, check financial reports of partners.
Responsible over project administration consisting of maintaining an appropriate filling system for the project, supporting the manager in organizing consultants and partners visits,  ensure that HEKS-EPER capital asset inventory is recorder and updated.

Essential Requirements

Fluent English language skills
Ability to work independently and in a small team
Excellent communication skills and a team spirit
Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel
