Position: LOC Team Services Director

Job Description

- Assisting LOC to ensure effective administration of the 16 participating teams within the FIFA U-17 Women`s World Cup Azerbaijan 2012
- Responsible for managing preparation phase of the team services (preparation of team questionnaires, visa, transfer, travel matters, answering their enquiries and etc.)
- Managing 16 Team Liaison Officers during the tournament period
- Communication with Football Associations, administrators of the team and answering their enquiries
- Supporting Local Organising Committee during the preparation and Official Draw Period to organize Venue tours for the participating member associations` representatives
- Ensuring comfortableness of the Participating teams during their stay in the country
- Preparation of training schedules of the teams

Note: It is a tall task for anyone to fill this demanding role since it requires a high degree of patience, knowledge of the organisation, its people and the peculiarities of each national team.

Job Requirements

• Azerbaijani and English Language Proficiency. Knowledge of other languages are appreciable
• Bachelors degree in Management/Sport Management/Tourism/MBA/Social Sciences or related field
• At least 2 years work experience in related/similar sector
• Good IT skills
• Accurate arrangements, timely communication
• Readiness to work long hours (especially during tournament period)
• Solving problem skills, creativity, ability to work independently
• People who had experience in related field in any kind of events are preferable
