Welding Inspector

Education (level and type): Bachelor in (engineering/economy/finance or any other)

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Skils (soft/technical skills): CSWIP 3.1 (Welding Inspector) or AWS QC1 (CWI)

Specific knowledge: Welding processes, standards (ISO9000, AWS D1.1, EEMUA 158)

Language Knowledge: English, Azerbaijanian – level (beginner / intermediate/ advanced)

Professional certifications: CSWIP 3.1 (Welding Inspector) or AWS QC1 (CWI)

Other requirements: Previous experience in structural steel

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Coordinate with Third party to welding and NDT activities
2) Review As-Built documentation packages
3) Filing and retain NDT reports and inspection reports
4) Prepare the welder performance
5) Prepare the weekly and monthly report
6) Issuance NCR and follow up for corrective action
7) Ensure the QC tools and NDT equipment are calibrated and certificates available

SKILLS REQUIRED:

1) Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
2) Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications
3) Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
4) Internal Audit qualification
5) External Audit (preferred)
6) Excellent presentation and reporting skills
