Senior Backend Developer

Trawell Group is a tourism company that works upon several travel startups with its young, dynamic team. Its headquarter is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and has been working with the Baku office since 2015 to develop regional tourism startups. Our major startups include Pickvisa.com, Vizam.az, Postkarto, Seguro.az, Backpack Azerbaijan, and other products.

Responsibilities

• Will work in a startup environment and be part of a developing team.
• Developing new software with the developer team.
• Bug fixing in existing software.
• Coding back-end services based on the provided Design.

Requirements

• Senior level engineering experience (3-5 years);
• Extensive experience in building products/services or leading the development and launch of software products/applications/services;
• Excellent background using modern programming languages and approaches – PHP and SQL. Python is an additional advantage.
• Good work experience with the Laravel framework. Django is an additional benefit.
• An understanding of web-based networking concepts, specifically an advanced understanding of HTTP, SSL;
• Experience with microservices architecture;
• Experience with REST API architecture;
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS
• Familiar with GIT, JSON, OOP, SOLID is desirable;
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, Linux, AWS is desirable;

Details

• Working schedule: 9.00-18.00, Monday - Friday. Sometimes Saturday.
• Salary range: 2000 - 2500 AZN (based on experience) + Bonus.
