Business Development Manager/ Sales Strategy Manager

We are recruiting for Business Development Manager / Sales Manager opportunity on behalf of a newly established Dairy Products Company.

Key responsibilities

- Explore, gather, lead and generate new business/market entry opportunities
- Responsible for growth & development of milk products portfolio within specific sales zones
- Responsible and accountable to support all aspects of the sales process, attend trade shows, create prospect lists, solicit and close sales directly and through dealers
- Retain and nurture existing customers, ensuring repeat sales, volume growth, increased rate of sale and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a full understanding of all aspect products, markets, manufacturing, and engineering as well as competitor-equivalent products and relevant company and competitor channel programs/promotions
- Engage and leverage relationships with other affiliated sales organizations for best practice and strategic development
- Build effective trading relationships with key decision makers
- Manage, nurture and maintain relationships with dealer network
- Provide feedback to management from key retail and distributor customers.
- Work with customers and dealers to provide a complete solution for their needs

Requirements

- 5 to 10 years working in dairy industry sales in domestic and foreign markets
- Excellent knowledge of on-trade/off-trade sales
- Proven track record of selling a full portfolio of dairy products.
- Ability to build and develop relationships at every level
- Team player who is comfortable working on own initiative.
- Understanding of dairy production
- Competent IT skills: Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Social media platforms.
