Your main job responsibilities
* To collaborate with business stakeholders to create technical solutions that provide value to company.
* To identify and implement improvements to improve the quality of the software development process.
* To develop strategic short- and long-term applications system plans that are consistent with the needs and priorities of the b usiness.
* To participate in defining Applications systems architecture and design
* To manage development, integration and implementation of Consumer and Enterprise Applications, VAS Platforms and relevant services.
* To lead, mentor and guide software development staff.
* To perform business analysis of requirements for new or existing products and services development
* To collaborate with project managers to align project resources based on current priorities.
* To solve problems and make decisions on a daily basis relative to software development responsibilities.
* To support tendering process for selection of vendors for Application platforms and services.
* To ensure that system acceptance tests/verifications were done after application updates
Your education and work experience
* University degree in Computer Science/Technology or related fields
* 10+ years of experience in Telecom BSS/Applications/VAS platforms architecture, design, development, engineering, implementation, integration and support
* 5+ years of experience in leading development teams
* 5+ years of experience in Vendor Management/IT Project Management
* Experience in software change and release management
* Experience in working on large scale applications
* Experience in working with international standards (3GPP, ITEF etc.)
* Knowledge and experience in applications security principles implementation
* Minimum 8 years of working experience in J2EE/JAVA, Spring, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, SQL, PL/SQL, SOAP/REST web services
* Working experience with creation and maintenance of product and services documentation
* Working experience with tender documentation creation, review, evaluation and reporting
* Working experience in business analysis
Your skills and competencies
* Excellent knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
* Working Knowledge of protocols used in VAS, cellular and computer networks (SIGTRAN, MAP, TCP/IP protocol family, Camel, xml, DCC, SMPP etc)
* Deep functional knowledge and hands on experience in micro services architecture for distributed systems, API Management, Enterprise Service Bus/Integration Frameworks, Applications Monitoring and Performance reporting, Functional and Performance testing
* Fluent Azerbaijani and English language skills. Russian is an advantage.
